About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RYUPLUS collects, uses and shares information when you use our browser extension, website and related services. RYUPLUS does not require registration or Google sign-in.

RYUPLUS is an independent extension for Ryuten.io. This policy does not cover Ryuten.io or other third-party services.

Information we collect

The information we handle depends on the features you use:

• Preferences and saved content. Your settings, cosmetic choices, skin collections, profiles, replays and recorded clips.
• In-game activity. Your game name, tag, server, playing or spectating status, selected cosmetics and, where relevant, your in-game position.
• Communications. Messages, shared images, emotes, invites and other content you send through RYUPLUS. Tag PINs may be processed for tag and invitation features; they are not included in public presence updates.
• Technical information. Automatically generated installation and session identifiers, authentication credentials and connection information such as your IP address. These support online features, saved permissions and service security without requiring you to create an account.

How we use information

We use information to operate RYUPLUS, remember your preferences, deliver communications and shared features, manage badges and permissions, provide support, troubleshoot problems and prevent misuse. We do not sell your personal information or use it for personalized advertising.

When information is shared

Information is shared with other users as needed for the features you use. For example, Users Online displays relevant game activity; your equipped badge, custom name, country flag and displayed skins may be visible to other RYUPLUS users; and messages or invitations are delivered to their intended channels or recipients.

We use service providers to host and operate our website and online services. They may process information on our behalf as needed to provide those services. Administrators may access relevant information for support, moderation and security. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect the service and its users.

Local storage and recordings

Settings, skin collections, replays and recorded clips are stored in your browser or in files you download. Recording and export tools process game content locally; they do not automatically upload your replay library or exported videos to our servers.

Some information is saved as website data in your browser. Uninstalling the extension may not remove it. Clearing the relevant browser storage can also remove saved game settings and recordings.

Data retention

We retain service information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide features, maintain permissions, resolve issues and protect against misuse. Local content remains on your device until you delete it or clear the relevant storage.

Connection IP addresses and tag PINs are held by our service for the active session rather than stored in its database. Service providers may retain separate operational logs. You can contact us about information retained from current or earlier versions.

Your choices

You can adjust settings, disable optional features, delete local content or uninstall RYUPLUS. Hide Status reduces your visibility in Users Online, but does not disconnect you from our services. Disabling or uninstalling the extension stops its online communication.

You may contact us with questions or requests to access or delete information associated with your installation. Removing local installation credentials can affect access to associated badges or permissions.

Third-party services

External links and resources, including skins, images and fonts, may connect your browser to third-party services. Those services receive normal request information and handle it under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as RYUPLUS changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
